Ordering and Delivery Process

You may order a completely custom, personalized wood project directly from us. Turnaround, from design to completion, is about 2 weeks.

We work closely with you to deliver precisely the design you want until you are satisfied with the final proof. Give us some ideas and let us run with it. Your satisfaction is our guarantee.

Choose Shape and Size

Wood signs come in a variety of pre-designed shapes. View the available 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional sign shapes. There are 20 2D shapes and 60 3D shapes to choose from (which can't be changed). However, we can customize other elements, like overall size up to 48” x 48”, artwork and message. We also work with live edge. Most signs can be routed or have raised letters. Craft Your Message

Think about what you would like your sign to say. There is no limit to the number of letters you may add to your custom wood sign.

Fonts

We can work with most fonts, and it would be helpful if you can provide a sample and font name. We'll hunt down whatever you choose. If you don't have a font in mind, visit our font page or Dafont and look around. There are 1000's to choose from.

Artwork

If you don’t have any of your own art or images in mind, we have library of artwork to choose from that can be reproduced in wood. Please note, we can’t duplicate any copyright-protected artwork. It must be changed at least 40% before we can use it.

Finishing

Our signs are sealed for indoor or outdoor use. The outdoor signs are sealed with three coats of Marine Spar Varnish, which takes a few days to dry before shipping. Indoor signs are sealed with three coats of clear enamel and can be shipped a bit sooner.

Proof

There is no charge for a proof and no obligation to purchase. We provide up to three proofs without a deposit. We want to make sure your personalized, custom wood sign is exactly what you want.

If you need more than three proofs, there is a $50.00 fee which is applied to your purchase. If no purchase is made, it is not refunded.

After submitting your order, our craftsman convert your concept to a wood grain, professionally designed proof. Your wood sign must look exactly like you imagine before we proceed with your order. You will not pay for your sign until you approve the proof and give us instructions to proceed. Any deposits will be applied to your purchase.

Pricing, Delivery & Shipping

Pricing

Prices start at $150 (plus shipping) for a custom carved wood sign. There are additional charges for added designs, size and color painting. Once you have determined the above, we can price it out for you. We are sure you will find our pricing very fair for the high quality product you will receive.

Delivery Time

Once you contact us with your sign idea, our goal is to respond with an initial proof within 24 hours. Once the proof is approved, we do our best to ship your custom carved wood sign within 14-18 business days.

Shipping

We work in the Pacific Northwest and can ship anywhere. Shipping is included in the final price of your project (we typically use UPS ground), and it’s free to the Lower 48 States for signs up to 4 feet.

Special Considerations for Business Signs

A good rule of thumb for choosing the letter size: 1 inch of letter height provides 10 feet of "best" readability. In other words, for every 1 inch of letter height, it can be read from up to 100 feet away. For example, if your target audience will be reading the sign from 50 feet away, consider a font size of 5 inches with a maximum reading distance of 500 feet. Legibility chart

Night Visibility

Powder-like reflective glass beads on white letters drastically aid in night time visibility. These may be added for an additional cost.
